Fan Chengcheng’s camp has recently condemned the actions of stalker fans of the singer, for endangering the safety of Fan and his staff.
On 17 August, his personal studio released a statement on Weibo, saying that Fan Chengcheng (also known as Adam Fan) and his team were aggressively followed by extreme fans (known by the term sasaeng) in Hangzhou from the airport.
After being persuaded to leave, the group of fans reversed their car and then attempted to ram the team members’ car, seriously endangering the safety of the artiste and staff.

“Our company has preserved relevant video evidence of this vile behaviour. After safely transporting our artiste to the hotel, we reported the incident to the police and submitted the aforementioned evidence to the public security authorities in accordance with the law to hold those involved accountable. We thank the Hangzhou police for their timely response and bringing the individuals involved back to the public security authorities for processing,” the studio shared.
They added that they have repeatedly urged fans to be rational in their pursuit of idols and to be responsible for each other’s safety, but unfortunately, similar incidents continue to occur frequently.
Fan Chengcheng’s studio once again solemnly calls on fans to “resolutely resist all sasaeng behaviour and jointly maintain public order.”
