After announcing her pregnancy back in January, Yvonne Liu recently revealed that she has given birth to her first daughter with new husband, basketball player Hu Kai-Hsiang.
Sharing the good news on Facebook on 16 July, the Taiwanese actress shared that their baby girl was born earlier than expected.
“With big, lucky ears and even bigger sparkling eyes, what amazed us the most was that less than 3 seconds after being born, she let out the loudest cry. The wave of emotion in that moment was indescribable that my eyes welled up instantly. The nurses all said she’s strong and healthy, and doing great,” she enthused.
Yvonne said that she is especially grateful to her husband, whom she said endured several days of her extreme insomnia and never let go of her hand throughout the entire process.
“Even though he was more nervous than I was, he still tried his best to comfort me,” she added.
She also assured that both she and her baby are healthy and thank everybody for their kind wishes.
