Singer Chiisa Viseskul, also known as Langga Lamu, is set to perform in Malaysia and Singapore this coming August.
The Thai singer, known for her vocal resemblance to the legendary late singer Teresa Teng, will be holding a show called “A Memorial Concert in Tribute to Teresa Teng” in Singapore on 2 August and in Malaysia on 3 August.
The Singapore show will be held at The Theatre at Mediacorp, while the performance in Malaysia will be at Zepp KL.
Remarkably self-taught in Mandarin pronunciation before age 14 without formal training, Chiisa mastered Cantonese and Japanese renditions with precision. Her 2015 breakthrough was on “The Voice of China” at 16, performing “Thousands of Words”, and earning her the title “Uncrowned Queen”.
She will be performing many of Teresa’s hits including “The Moon Represents My Heart”, “I Only Care About You”, “The Power of Love”, “Farewell My Love” and “Coffee with Wine”.
