After becoming a victim of death hoaxes multiple times in recent years, Jet Li can finally laugh it all off.
In a recent interview with the media, the 62-year-old martial arts actor stated that he understood the demand for traffic in the era of social media, and that he considers it a kind of “help” from him if his death hoax can create traffic for many netizens and news outlets.
Jet also stated his belief that what people pursue in life is nothing more than “fame, wealth, power, and love”, but everything will eventually return to nothingness after hundreds of years.
“Thus, I am not afraid of death and I have no regrets,” he added. “I have already made arrangements for my and my wife’s funerals early in life.”
As for his health issues, Jet said that he has never concealed the fact that he has hyperthyroidism for more than ten years.
However, at the same time, the actor stated that he rarely attends the funerals of relatives and friends who have passed away, saying, “Who in this world can avoid experiencing the departure of their loved ones?”
