If you think Andy Lau would be furious over Wong Jing peddling stories about his love life on YouTube, the answer would be no, he doesn’t really mind it.
The Hong Kong star, who attended the premiere of his new movie, “A Gilded Game” on 6 May, was asked about Wong’s recent YouTube video, in which the filmmaker shared stories on how Andy had to “play with time” when it comes to dating during the height of his popularity.
To that, he calmly responded, “I don’t mind. Everybody knows.”
In the video posted on 4 May, Wong revealed that it was hard for any girl to be Andy’s girlfriend at the peak of his popularity, and that even his wife Carol Chu was only able to meet the actor every few months when they started dating.
The filmmaker said that he was told by Andy that the actor would go to a place with almost no people to spend a week quietly during the Lunar New Year.
He also claimed that Andy could only go and watch a movie with his girlfriend 10 minutes after the movie started and leave 10 minutes before the end of the movie to avoid being discovered.
When asked if it was true, Andy said, “Every actor is like this.”
