Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Jing had everybody scratching their heads when he suddenly decided to verbally attack MIRROR member Keung To via social media.
On 12 April, the director posted a collage of photos of the singer on Weibo, including solo photos, a photo of him at a red carpet with Andy Lau, as well as photos of Keung’s fans cheering in Causeway Bay on his birthday in the past.
He wrote, “Hong Kong’s top star? Are you really crazy? You are fat, singing and dancing like a chicken! You are killing me, Hong Kong’s top star! Please get out of the entertainment industry.”
The post surprised many, who didn’t understand the reason for his sudden anger. However, Wong Jing had since deleted the post.
Meanwhile, Keung To himself did not directly respond to the post, and instead shared a video of him smiling and leaning on the back of a chair, writing, “Smile.” However, many believed that it was just him promoting a toothpaste brand of which he is the spokesperson.
Fans also took to the comments section of his Instagram account, with one saying, “Don’t pay attention to useless people. Some people don’t deserve you, so smile.”
