Despite previously becoming the runner-up at the pre-season warm-up race at the 2025 China GT Supercar Championship and had a good result in the first race of the 2025 China GT Championship Round 1, Wang Yibo had to end his racing adventure early.
As reported on Southern Metropolis Entertainment, the singer, who partnered with David Pan Junlin to represent the UNO Racing team, was forced to retire due to damage to the car’s key components in the second race.
According to the live broadcast of the event and official information, the failure occurred during the pit stop. After a short time in the car, they were forced to withdraw from the second round of the final.

After withdrawing from the race, Wang’s studio immediately updated social media to respond: “Shake it off, and race next time!”
On 28 April, Wang posted on social media, “It was a very exciting weekend. I am very happy to race with David [Pan]. There are surprises and regrets, but this is racing. The god of luck will not always be on your side. I look forward to the next race!”
It is noted that the two racers drove the No. 85 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, and won GT3 AM category championship in the first race.
