It looks like Wu Jinyan may be making her acting comeback soon, if producer Yu Zheng is to be believed.
The producer was recently asked about the actress’ comeback, following reports that she has given birth to her first child with actor Hong Yao, and also the spread of a photo of Wu attending a birthday party following her confinement.
To that, Yu responded, “Soon. There are more than 10 scripts in line and we will shoot the ones we have signed first.”
It is said that Wu has already taken on the new drama, “Hua Qing Chuan” and is expected to join the cast in April for filming.
It was back in September that Wu announced that she has married her “Story of Yanxi Palace” co-star Hong Yao. She was later spotted with what many speculated to be a baby bump, though she never made a statement about a pregnancy.
Last month, a source claimed that the actress has safely given birth to a daughter.
