Kim Soo-hyun’s camp has recently refuted claims made by a YouTuber saying that the actor had dated the late Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor.
It was back on 10 March that a YouTube channel HoverLab Inc. released a video alleging that the two stars had been together for six years since she was 15 years old. It also claimed that the allegations were verified with the actress’ parents and included a phone interview with a member of her family.
Kim Soo-hyun’s agency GOLDMEDALIST was quick to respond to the allegations as they released a statement later that same day that the claims made were untrue.
The company pointed out that they are saddened by the sudden death of Kim Sae-ron, who was once an artiste under their banner. However, the arbitrary spread of false information by the channel was equivalent to tarnishing the honour of the late Kim.
They also dismissed the notion that they acted improperly in handling the aftermath of Kim Sae-ron’s drunk driving incident that sparked a whole hate campaign against the actress in the past.
“These malicious claims directed at our company and actor Kim Soo-hyun are entirely false and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. We are currently reviewing the strongest possible legal actions against HoverLab Inc. for spreading these falsehoods,” the company stated.
