Not soon after Kim Soo-hyun’s camp denied allegations of him dating the late Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor, a new photo and text message has emerged to reveal a different story.
YouTube channel Hoverlab, which originally shared the allegations reportedly made by a family member of the actress, has now released a video that had a previously undisclosed photo of Kim Soo-hyun kissing Kim Sae-ron on the cheek.
The selfie photo, which has now circulated online via various South Korean media outlets, seemed to have been taken by the actress herself, with the family claiming that she was only 15 at the time the photo was taken.
The said photo allegedly was taken the same day with the previous photo of both stars posing cheek to cheek that Kim Sae-ron had posted and then deleted from Instagram in 2023.
They also released a text message that was reportedly sent by the actress, that read, “Oppa, it’s Sae-ron. I received the content-certified letter. You’re suing me… I’ve been preparing for my return to acting, and I plan to repay you gradually from each project. It’s not that I won’t pay, but I just can’t manage 700 million won all at once. Please give me time. I’m begging you, please help me.”
It is noted that in the previous allegations, a family member of Kim Sae-ron said that Kim Soo-hyun and his company Gold Medalist actually offered to pay the KRW 700 million in compensation following the actress’ drunk driving incident without saying that it needed to be reimbursed. Hence the actress’ surprise when she received a demand in 2024 to return the money after her contract expired.
In response to this, Korean media “OSEN” contacted Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, and the other party responded, “We are sorting out additional official positions and will issue a formal statement later.”
