Arnold Kwok recently announced that he is leaving TVB after 10 years of cooperation.
The actor shared the news on Instagram on 17 February with a photo of his employee ID, captioning it, “Ten years, thank you.”
Many of his peers like Daniel Chau and Benjamin Yuen took to the comments to express support for Arnold, with the latter writing, “See u around.”
He also responded to a comment from a netizen that commented, “You haven’t showed up for a long time, I thought you left long ago”, saying, “That’s right. It’s been a while.”
Arnold, who has played multiple supporting characters in dramas and was doing an average of five dramas per year since 2016, seemed to have slowed his work down since 2023, with no new drama at all since 2024.
Instead, the former Abercrombie & Fitch model spent more time running his and fiancée Amber Tang’s YouTube channel, “The BeansCouple”, which has 11,000 subscribers.
