South Korean rap rock group N.Flying delivered an electrifying performance at their 2024 LIVE ‘HIDE-OUT’ concert in Kuala Lumpur last Sunday night. Despite a slight initial delay, 1,600 fans dressed in black and red erupted with excitement as the band took the stage.

Comprising Lee Seung Hyub (vocalist and rapper), Yoo Hwe Seung (vocalist), Cha Hun (guitarist), and Seo Dong Sung (bassist), the group powered through their set even without drummer Kim Jae Hyun, who is currently serving in the military. The concert opened with the energetic “Flowerwork”, immediately setting the tone for an incredible night.

The band quickly won over the crowd by attempting to speak Malay, with a simple “Malaysia! Apa khabar, sayang” (Malaysia! How are you, dear?) sending fans (known as N.Fia) into a frenzy. Their setlist was packed with hit songs like “YOUTH”, “Oh really.”, “Blue Moon”, “GOOD BAM”, and “Rootfop”, accompanied by the glow of white light sticks.

A special highlight for K-drama fans came with performances of “Star” and “I Think I Did” from the popular series “Lovely Runner”, in which Lee Seung Hyub plays the character Baek In Hyuk. The band’s intensity peaked with tracks like “Moonshot” and “Monster”, even performing “The Real” twice to the delight of the audience.

After an impressive three-hour show spanning over 20 songs, fans demanded an encore. The group returned in matching green outfits, closing the night with heartfelt songs including “The World Is Mine”, “Sunset”, and “Stand By Me”. Before leaving, N.Flying took a memorable group photo with their fans.
