Salyu recently announced that she has given birth to her first daughter.
Sharing the good news on Instagram, the 43-year-old Japanese singer stated, “There was anxiety about giving birth at a high-risk pregnancy age, but I was able to spend a happy maternity life and experience a healthy birth. I was even able to do my work just before (and a live show a month before the scheduled date).”
Thanking those who supported her throughout the years, Salyu stated that becoming a mother has enabled her to discover new things and create new perspectives on her music.
“I can’t wait to see what I will carve out from now on and what power I can give to the songs,” she added.
