Singer Shiho Ochi of Superfly fame recently announced that she has given birth to her first child.
The 38-year-old singer, who is married to musician Daisuke Kanazawa, shared the good news on social media, writing, “I have given birth safely! Thank you for your warm attention during my pregnancy.”
“Music activities during pregnancy were all special experiences. I am looking forward to becoming a mother and seeing what kind of works will be born in the future. And I can’t wait for the days when I can run around and sing in front of you in good condition!”
Daisuke also expressed his happiness online, writing, “I am a father now. I am delighted to be able to welcome the live house tour for the first time in two and a half years with various excitement. Thank you for your continued support.”
Shiho married the Fuji Fabric member in in 2018, and announced the pregnancy in December last year.
