Lee Min-Ho and Gong Hyo-Jin will be working together in an upcoming tvN series.

The news was confirmed on 28 March, with the series, “Ask the Stars” (translated title) to be directed by Park Shin-Woo of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” fame.

On the other hand, the script will be written by Seo Sook-Hyang, who previously penned “Pasta”.

In the series, which is described as a full-fledged rom-com that takes place between a space station and Earth, Lee will be playing the role of an obstetrician-gynaecologist, who arrives at the space station as a tourist and meets with astronaut Eve Kim (Gong Hyo-Jin).

Filming is scheduled to begin in April, with the goal of releasing the series on both television and streaming service in 2023.

Lee currently stars in Apple TV+ series, “Pachinko”, while Gong’s last drama was the 2019’s “When the Camellia Blooms”.
