Catriona Gray recently unveiled her first ever wax figure at the Madame Tussauds Singapore.
The beauty queen recently shared a couple of photos with her wax figure, which can be seen wearing her signature Miss Universe 2018 Mayon volcano-inspired gown and ‘Alab at Dangal’ ear cuff, and giving that famous slow-motion twirl pose that won the hearts of many.
“Who’s that girl,” she wrote. “What a surreal moment to (FINALLY!) launch my very own wax figure at [Madame Tussauds Singapore] after 3 years! [I am exhilarated!]”
“I’m so honoured and flattered to be the only Filipino wax figure here in MT Singapore! Also for those that are curious! [Mak Tumang] created an ah-mazing replica lava gown! The small differences on the neck line are to hide the “seams” where the head of the wax figure fit onto the body! The lava gowns mesh base presented a challenge but Mak masterfully worked around these!” she added.
Catriona also revealed that they chose the final walk look from Miss Universe as an interactive concept where visitors can “LavaWalk” with her.
It is noted that Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach also has her own wax figure, though it is exhibited at the Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
