Although his daughter Fabienne could be signing with TVB, Eddie Kwan recently confirmed that he is no longer a permanent resident artiste of the said broadcaster.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor, who spoke to the media about his departure from being managed by the company, stated that his new drama, “The Kwoks and What” will be his last project with TVB for now.
“I am doing per project now, [instead of direct management]. Now I can balance my time between Hong Kong and China,” he said.
Asked if he will return to TVB in the future, Eddie said that it would depend on the timing and the kind of role offered to him.
When mentioned that he may not have the chance to collaborate with Fabienne if his daughter is to join the company, Eddie smiled and said, “There will be a chance. For now, I want to spend more time in the mainland.”
“I want to go back to filming in mainland at the end of October, but I would like to celebrate Christmas with my family in December, so we’ll see how it goes,” he said.
