Ruffa Gutierrez’s eldest daughter Lorin is set to follow her footsteps by signing with Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
As reported on ABS-CBN, the 17 year-old, who was announced as the new addition to the VIVA family, stated that she has no fear about making her showbiz debut, but instead excited of her future.
“I can’t wait to start this new journey, this new chapter of my life,” she said. “I have been waiting my whole life for the right time to finally do this and finally follow in my family’s footsteps. And now that I’m almost 18, it feels just right.”
As for her decision to join showbiz, Lorin said that neither her mother nor her uncles Richard and Raymond Gutierrez influenced her decision.
“They never tried to rush me. They never tried to pressure me. Everything was on my own pace and now I’m ready… I’m just really excited to put all my effort into this and see what this new chapter of my life takes me,” she said, adding that she realised her passion in acting even in school.
As to what her mother said about her being part of the entertainment industry, Lorin said that Ruffa only has one restriction.
“No boyfriend to focus on studies, to focus on my career. She just tries to instil in me that I should focus on myself rather than focusing on other people first,” she said.
