Accompanied by regional artists within Southeast Asia, rising star Yonnyboii, real name Muhammad Haqeem Nuriman, represents Malaysia in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Raya and the Last Dragon”-inspired track.
Entitled ‘Trust Again’, it features Yonnyboii providing his raspy lyricism and infectious energy that compliments the unique voices of its main vocalist, Raisa from Indonesia, along with rappers Matthaios from the Philippines, and Sprite from Thailand.
Inspired by the story and characters of the film through a special collaboration presented by Universal Music Group, the original song highlights an authentic Southeast Asian sound, pride and culture.

“To say I’m thankful is an understatement. Knowing the impact Walt Disney films have had on my childhood and likes of others is enough to make me feel overwhelmed with gratitude. I am very honored that I am able to represent my home and our culture through a Disney original soundtrack. This just goes to show that times are changing and there is space for everyone to shine, even for a kid from Setapak, ” said Yonnyboii.
“Raya and the Last Dragon” takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well.
“Raya and the Last Dragon’’ is currently screening in the cinemas, and is also available on Disney+ with Premier Access in most Disney+ markets.
