After a whirlwind romance, Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay shocked many yet again recently by announcing their engagement.
On 30 March, the actor posted a photo of him holding a crying Adarna in his arms, with the backdrop of the words “Will You Marry Me?” written in neon lights.

On the other hand, Adarna shared several other photos from the proposal on her social media account at the same time, including one of her showing off her engagement rock.

Friends including Jessy Mendiola, Heart Evangelista, Ruffa Gutierrez, KC Concepcion, and Luis Manzano took to the comments section to express their congratulations, with the former writing, “Congrats you guys! Good job Panday!”
It is noted that the couple had only announced their relationship last month, and were rumoured to be dating in January after they were spotted at the same dinner party. However, Ramsay stated that he had actually gone on a blind date with Adarna prior to the dinner.
The engagement came not five months after Ramsay ended his one-year relationship with actress Andrea Torres. Meanwhile, Adarna was previously dating John Lloyd Cruz and has a son with the actor whom they named Elias.
