T-ARA’s Soyeon recently announced that she is finally pregnant with her first child after four years of marriage.
The singer shared the good news on social media on 1 November by sharing several daily-life photos that include an ultrasound of her baby.
She wrote, “Today, November 1, on our fourth wedding anniversary, I have some very special, precious and wonderful news to share. I’m so excited! Our little baby will be arriving soon!”
Soyeon, who is married to footballer Cho Yu-min, said that she and her husband spent the past four years working towards his dream of playing in his second World Cup, following his first appearance in the tournament.
However, after he was finally selected for the final squad for the 2026 World Cup, Cho suffered an injury during one of the tournament’s matches in the United States and had no choice but to put everything aside and return home.
“While we were going through what was perhaps the biggest challenge of my husband’s career as a footballer, God blessed us with a precious new life on a day we had never expected, let alone planned for. I truly believe it was a miracle…” she enthused.
Soyeon said that she and her husband truly understand the meaning of gratitude since the day they found out about the baby, and have been cherishing every single day with it.
“Moving forward, I look forward to a life filled with gratitude alongside my kind and hardworking husband, our little one who will surely take after his daddy, and our adorable fur babies!” she added.
