Julian Cheung and Ron Ng recently expressed that they were elated over working together again, 13 years since 2013’s “Triumph in the Skies II”.
In a recent interview to promote their new drama, “This City Never Sleeps,” Ron admitted that he agreed to the role immediately after finding out that he will be working with Julian again.
“Julian and I would be working together again, and I wanted to see if there would be any new sparks. I thought it would be a lot of fun,” Ron continued.
Julian also sang praises for Ron, saying that the atmosphere of their collaboration was very pleasant.
“This time we played brothers, so there were even more opportunities for us to interact. I think he’s a great actor, very punctual, cooperative, and he also has his own ideas,” he said.
Julian continued, “He’s also very humorous and relaxed. Whenever we had different perspectives on a scene, we could easily reach a consensus. It was a very pleasant collaboration.”
Produced by Chan Wai Kwun, the drama “This City Never Sleeps” tells the story of two brothers who manage a hotel group, despite both have long been fighting each other and have their own ideas.
