Linda Chung recently revealed that she actually gave birth to son Jared at home in Vancouver, witnessed by her own eldest daughter, Kelly.
The actress shared that piece of information with Wong Cho Lam and wife Leanne Li on their new variety show, saying that she felt it was very natural for Kelly to experience seeing her brother being born.
“Life is life. It’s bloody but it’s beautiful,” she said.
Linda, dubbed a “super mum” by Wong Cho Lam for her ability to multitask, also said that experiencing the pain of childbirth was very important to her because it allowed her to deeply appreciate the greatness of her own mother.
“I was able to experience the process and feelings of my mother giving birth to my three siblings and me, which is very important to me. I always want to be close to my mother. I know she worked so hard and tried so hard to be a good mother, so I love her so much… When I was giving birth, I thought of my mother, so I felt so strong,” she said.
The actress said that she also taught her daughter to love the role of a mother.
“My eldest daughter told me that she wants to have children. She said, ‘I want to have three, Mommy, just like you. But can you help me have three?'”
Linda, who married chiropractor Jeremy Leung in 2015, is also mum to another little girl named Anika.
