Malaysian singer-songwriter Jasmine Chong is set to hold her solo concert “Garden in the Room” in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
The concert, which will be held on 21 November (Saturday) at PJPAC Nero Space, will use music, stage design and visual elements to portray a journey of “putting down roots,” “moving towards the light” and “blooming”.
One month before the concert, Jasmine will also visit schools as part of her Campus Tour, where she will engage with students from different campuses through music and songwriting exchanges, building anticipation for the release of her upcoming solo EP of the same name.
Speaking about the upcoming concert, Jasmine enthused, “I feel that the process of writing songs is very similar to growing flowers. Both require a great deal of patience, and you have to keep watering and nurturing them before you can finally see them bloom. Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed my music along the way and been willing to accompany me.”
“You’ve helped someone as impatient as me learn to wait patiently for the day when my own garden truly blooms,” she added.
