Blackie Chen recently assured fans that he is doing better now following news of his heart attack.
Sharing the news on social media on 15 September, the TV personality wrote, “Everything is safe, thank you all for your concern. Special thanks to National Taiwan University Hospital for its professional and speedy treatment and care! Thank you to my family and friends for your first attention.”
“Sorry to worry everyone, I will take good care of myself and get back to my job as soon as possible! Thanks for everything,” he added.
Prior to this, his agent confirmed news of his hospitalisation, saying that Blackie suddenly felt unwell while watching the PLG friendly match.
After being examined by the doctors, he was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and underwent surgery soon after.
