Baek Jin-hee has shared more about her non-celebrity fiancé in a recent video titled “A Message to You All” on her YouTube channel.
The actress, who announced her upcoming wedding earlier this week, expressed her gratitude over the well-wishes, saying that she has never received this many congratulations before. Her husband-to-be resides in Canada and that the two met while Baek was studying in the country last year.
Recalling their dating days, Baek said that she and her fiancé were in a long-distance relationship, flying back and forth between Korea and Canada that would take them 14 hours each journey.
“It wasn’t an easy relationship because we couldn’t be together when we wanted to. But though physical distance stood in the way, whenever we spent time together, I felt like a young girl again,” she said.
She then revealed that her fiancé’s English name is Henry, and that he is just “an ordinary office worker.”
“He is not a businessman or a financier, nor does he possess great wealth. He is just an ordinary office worker for whom Friday mornings are the most exciting,” she said.
However, Baek said that she would rather not disclose too much about her fiancé, adding that she doesn’t want any harm to come to the man who will soon be family.
The actress is set to marry her fiancé on 23 January next year.
