Taiwanese hit 2000s boy band 5566 recently announced that they are going on tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
Sharing the good news on social media, the group posted a teaser which shows the four members in their new look, as well as the new 5566 logo that cleverly interweaves the core number “56” with flowing lines, forming the infinity symbol.
They also announced that the world tour has been named “Never Die”.
When asked about the origin of this tour, Tony Sun revealed that the brothers got together and talked about whether they should do something to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
He said that the members were very excited with the idea of holding a concert tour.
5566 is currently a three-member group consisting of Tony Sun, Jason Hsu and Zax Wang. However, Rio Peng will officially return to participate in the entire event this time.
Rio said that although it’s been challenging trying to learn to dance and sing again, he will definitely do his best for the fans.
