Kwak Dong-yeon is set to join the military in August.
His agency, The Black Label, confirmed the news on 21 July, stating that he will be enrolling on 25 August and adding, “Kwak Dong-yeon plans to faithfully fulfil his military duty.”
Kwak is scheduled to enter the Army Training Centre without a separate ceremony, and will begin his service after being assigned to a unit following the completion of basic military training.
With this news, the actor will not be part of the new season of “The Village Barber,” which he previously starred in.
However, he will still be a part of the 10th anniversary special for “Love in the Moonlight,” which will be in production in early August.
