STARTO Entertainment has recently revealed that its collaboration with DOMOTO will be ending, and that the duo will be parting ways with the company.
In a statement that was released on its official site, STARTO stated that their agent contract will expire on 21 July 2026, two years after the duo signed with the company.
“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the fans and related parties who have supported them so far. The Company deeply respects the journey and significant achievements that the two have built over many years. We kindly ask for your continued warm support for the two as they embark on a new chapter as DOMOTO,” the company stated.
On the other hand, STARTO said that Koichi Domoto will continue his agent contract with them as an individual.
Meanwhile, the duo, formerly known as KinKi Kids, stated that they will be managing their group activities themselves after this. They added, “While our environment will change significantly, the values we’ve always cherished will remain the same. We will continue to treasure the bond between the two of us as we move forward together with smiles, creating a world that is uniquely ours.”
