Xu Yiyang is assuring fans that steps are being taken to ensure husband Huang Zitao’s health, after netizens expressed concern about him previously.
In a livestream on 7 April, the singer addressed the previous worries fans had about the former EXO member, saying that Tao has undergone a basic physical examination back in 2025, which showed that his health is normal.
However, she added that in order to eliminate concern and risks, the singer has arranged to undergo a more comprehensive full-body examination this year.
She emphasised that “health issues cannot be taken lightly” and that health checkups must be done to dispel public concerns.
The assurance came following a previous livestream, where netizens noticed that Tao’s lips were purple. They immediately informed the singer that purple lips were usually related to heart problems.
Although Tao tried to joke it off, his wife, who was with him during the livestream, interrupted him and said, “Don’t say that. You really need to get it checked out.”
