Charmaine Sheh is not just a four-time TVB Best Actress winner and an actress beloved by many. She is also the only Hong Kong actress that is favoured by mainland journalists.
In a recent survey conducted by Chinese online media titled “Media Favourability in 2025,” Charmaine stood out as the only Hong Kong artiste to make the list, amid stars like Xiao Zhan, Bai Lu, Wang Hedi, and Song Weilong.
When asked about it during an appearance at a brand event, the actress was all smiles and said, “I’m very happy, and I’m very grateful for the media’s appreciation. I’m just doing my job!”
As to whether she is always prepared for an interview, Charmaine said that she would prepare whenever there is an opportunity to do so.
“But sometimes it’s an impromptu interview, like now, so I don’t have time to prepare. But I try my best to answer,” she said.
Charmaine also admitted that she would try her best to say yes to anybody who wants to have a photo with her.
“But sometimes when I really don’t look good, I’ll ask them if they have a beauty filter in the camera, but I still try to take photos,” she said.
