Lee Na-young is finally making a TV comeback with the new ENA drama, “Honour”.
The actress, who plays the role of one of the three lawyers in the drama named Yoon Ra-young, said that it was the script that got her interested in the role.
“I read it all in one go, like I was devouring a novel. I couldn’t stop. Each episode left me wanting more,” she stated, adding, “I wanted to be immersed in that tense narrative.”
Lee said that her character Yoon is a high-profile lawyer who is also an influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers, but that behind her polished image lies a mysterious past.
“I found the process of Yoon Ra-young facing her wounds, persevering, and pursuing the truth fascinating. It was completely different from the characters I’ve played so far in terms of personality and genre. I wanted to challenge myself,” she said, adding that the series broadened her horizon as an actress.
Based on the Swedish television series “Heder”, the new drama, co-starring Jung Eun-chae and Lee Chung-ah, revolves around three lawyers and a 20-year-old secret that they have to face.
Lee’s last television series was “Romance Is a Bonus Book,” which was aired in 2019. She also starred in the web drama, “One Day Off” in 2023, which was also her last drama before the new series.
