As controversy arose over the use of props similar to German Nazi medals in the Disney+ original series “The Remarried Empress,” the production company has now issued a statement of apology for their negligence.

In an official statement sent to the media on 15 November, Studio N, the production company for the series, stated, “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by our negligence in inspecting certain costume props that were recently revealed. We are deeply aware of the seriousness of this matter and will carefully and thoroughly proceed with the replacement of the problematic photos and follow-up measures to prevent a recurrence.”

It was back on 13 November that Disney+ held an Original Preview 2025 event and released promotional photos for “The Remarried Empress”.
