Silence Wang’s camp recently slammed obsessed fans for risking the singer and his team’s lives with their shenanigans just for the sake of getting close to him.
On 9 November, the singer’s studio shared a video showing a white car chasing after the team’s vehicle, and someone wearing a face mask recording them from the backseat of the white car.
They posted, “Recently, there have been numerous incidents of obsessive fan behaviour, from lingering around backstage and in basements after performances, secretly filming in hotel gyms, pushing and shoving staff, and chasing or blocking cars. These behaviours seriously violate the artiste’s privacy and endanger public safety. We strongly condemn it.”
The studio also stated that they have already retained complete evidence and will make the relevant footage public, and pursue legal responsibility in accordance with the law.
The statement mentioned that Silence always strives for professional excellence, but that “effective immediately, the artiste and staff will no longer accept letters in any setting.”
The new regulation is clearly intended to prevent fans from using the opportunity to harass the singer at close range.
