Ariel Lin is elated to have been named one of the nominees for the Golden Horse Awards’ Best Actress category.
The actress, who has been nominated for her performance in Shen Ko-shang’s “Deep Quiet Room”, said that she is grateful to be nominated again after so long.
“I am thankful for the excellent team’s strongest support and platform, which gave me the opportunity to be nominated for this role. I look forward to seeing everyone at the ceremony,” she expressed.
On the other hand, the movie itself has secured nominations in seven categories including Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor for Joseph Chang, as well as Best Director for Shen Ko-shang.
Ariel will be facing competition from Caitlin Fang (“A Foggy tale”), Rene Liu (“Unexpected Courage”), Fan Bingbing (“Mother Bhumi”) and Alexia Kao (“Family Matters”).
The actress was last nominated for the Golden Horse Best Actress category for “Love Me, If You Can” in 2003.
