After a two-year hiatus, award-winning Mandopop artist Crowd Lu is set to captivate Malaysian audiences once again with his highly anticipated “HeartBreakFast” World Tour.
The concert will take place on 9 November at 7PM at Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur, offering fans an immersive musical journey that transitions from melancholy to warmth, mirroring the emotional contrasts of urban life.
This time, the theme for the world tour will see Crowd Lu blending the emotional journey from Heartbreak to Breakfast into a bespoke “Midnight Cocktail” crafted for city dwellers, gently narrating the stories of lonely souls drifting through the metropolis. Adopting the persona of a “one-man shop owner,” he will embark on a musical roleplay, transforming into a heartbroken bartender in the dead of night, serving up richly layered, melancholic melodies steeped in solitude.
As a special highlight, he will perform selections from his new album “Tian Yi Shangxin Fanchang Qihua”, reimagining obscure yet emotionally potent indie love songs. Through his distinctive musical language and refined taste in song selection, he will reveal a deep resonance with these works and demonstrate his artistic ambition in production.
