Renee Lee recently admitted that she and husband David Lu have actually called it quits on their marriage for a while now.
The singer, who tied the knot with the businessman back in 2016, responded to the media query about the status of her marriage following rumours that the two are no longer together, saying, “It’s been two years.”
“The family affairs have been handled in a low-key manner. I hope everyone can understand,” she added.
Renee also said that she would not share details about the divorce seeing that it involves legal issues.
“Life always has its ups and downs. I have seen a lot of unpredictable things. Just cherish every day of your life,” she added.
As for whether her divorce from her ex-husband involved a third party, Renee said that she should keep a low profile and not respond. She admitted that her friends had known about her divorce for two years and kept it a secret.
As for the custody of the children, Renee said that their roles as parents remain unchanged.
The former couple have two children together, a daughter born in 2016 and a son born in 2018.
