Former My Chemical Romance drummer, Bob Bryar has passed away.
The musician was found dead at home in Tennessee on 26 November, according to reports, with law enforcement revealing that he was last seen alive on 4 November.
The medical examiners are currently still determining the cause of death though the police suspected no crime was committed.
In his last post on X, Bryar expressed his happiness that Linkin Park has found a new vocalist in Emily Armstrong following Chester Bennington’s passing.
“She was the perfect choice AND she had to deal with the initial hate. That s*** is hard. Trust me. Word up,” he posted.
In a statement to the media, a representative for My Chemical Romance said, “The band asks for your patience and understanding as they process the news of Bob’s passing.”
Bryar was part of the band from 2004, replacing original drummer Matt Pelissier, until his departure in 2010.
He was 44.
