Five months after announcing her marriage and pregnancy, Hikari Mitsushima updated her fans with the good news that she has given birth to her first child.
The 40-year-old actress shared the good news during a guest appearance on TBS Radio’s Daichi Miura’s Spacewalk on 24 August, when she casually revealing the news while wishing Daichi a happy birthday.
“Actually, I gave birth in early summer. Daichi came to visit me and held the baby. We’re still using the bath towel and the stuffed toy with a bell that Daichi gave us,” she said.
Hikari announced back on 30 March that she has remarried and was expecting a baby with her new husband Keisuke Asano.
On Instagram, she posted, “We just got married! Life feels lovelier, softer, more colourful with you. Days have been so meaningful as we will soon be the parents together. I love you. Your love is warm, [Keisuke Asano].”
