Ron Ng and Kelly Cheung have sparked romance rumours, after the actress introduced a new member of her family – a cat she has named Dongu.
On 26 June, the actress posted several photos of her and her cat, writing, “Let me introduce you to the new member of our family, a stray cat that can be held to sleep by hand. She found us at around 7 months old and I wonder how she ever survived the streets. Thank you for bringing so much joy and laughter into our lives.”
Netizens who looked at the cat quickly noted that it looked similar to a tabby Ron Ng was holding earlier in Zhuhai and brought back to Hong Kong. That one detail has now sparked rumours that the two of them may be more than friends.
It is noted that Ron had been romantically linked to Hana Kuk in the past, while Kelly and her long-time boyfriend Mark ended their eight-year relationship last year.
The two attracted attention by working together in “This City Never Sleeps,” with Kelly admitting that she was captivated by Ron’s charisma while filming the drama.
