Katy Kung recently stated that she is not at all affected by unfounded rumours that she was the person who bullied actress Kaki Leung on the set of the 2012 drama, “Beauty at War”.
Earlier, Kaki revealed on a television programme that she was bullied by a fellow actress while filming the TVB drama. She claimed the actress frequently criticised and micromanaged others on set, leading online users to speculate that Katy could be the person described.
When asked about it recently at a promotional event, Katy said that she had been busy working and had not been following the news closely, though friends had informed her about the controversy.
Katy stated that she was also a newcomer at the time and was under a lot of pressure to perform in the series. She was very focused on her work and had little contact with Kaki.
When asked about the relationship with the other actors in the drama, Katy said, “We are all colleagues, working together for the drama.”
She also said she was not upset about being suspected by netizens and had no intention of clarifying the matter publicly.
