Hou Minghao recently assured that his vocal cords are doing much better now, after it was previously revealed that he was suffering from vocal cord oedema.
The singer, who is currently competing in “Singer 2026,” shared the good news on social media, writing, “Look forward to what’s to come! My vocal cords are recovering, and everything is fine.”
“I’ll enjoy the stage, and you all should relax and enjoy the music too,” he added.
In a recent interview, the singer also expressed his happiness over his landslide victory at last week’s episode of the show, saying that he felt the most emotional when he sang the last line of the song, “Simon”.
Hou expressed that it was more about a sense of belonging to his identity as a singer. He said that for a period of time, he was quite confused about his dream of becoming a singer.
This time, through the “Singer 2026” stage, he said that he can finally say that he is a singer.
