Yan Haoxiang’s camp has recently dismissed the latest rumour regarding the singer, after it was reported that he has asked to leave his group, Teen in Times aka TNT.
The whole thing sparked after the hashtag #YanHaoxiangAppliesToLeaveTheGroupAfterConcert started trending on 5 May, sparking rumours that the singer wanted some space amid his family drama.
Soon after, the official Weibo account of TNT FanClub posted a response, saying, “Regarding the online rumour that Yan Haoxiang applied to leave the group after his concert, this news is completely fabricated and has no factual basis. We strongly condemn this baseless rumour-mongering!”
“Cyberspace is not a lawless zone, and any act of fabricating or spreading false information should be strongly resisted. Please refrain from spreading or believing rumours, and work together to maintain a healthy and orderly online environment,” it added.
Earlier this week, Yan Haoxiang made the news after a man claiming to be his estranged father accused him and his sister of neglecting him after he fell into a financial crisis.
Another post later appeared, supposedly from Yan Haoxiang’s mother, expressing hope that the public would not project the issue between her and her ex-husband onto their children.
