Barbie Hsu’s two children, Wang Xiyue and Wang Xilin recently returned to Taiwan to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
The two children joined their father Wang Xiaofei and their Taiwanese stepmum Mandy Ma on their travel to Taiwan. However, their return to the island was to celebrate with Mandy’s family, and not with the Hsu family.
On New Year’s Eve, Wang filmed the New Year’s Eve dinner in a livestream. He said that the food were all prepared by his mother-in-law, and the kids were also present. They did not go back to the Hsus’ home, but instead spent the New Year with Wang and their stepmum.
After their New Year’s Eve dinner, Wang shared a video of himself taking his wife and children to the Tamsui River to set off fireworks. Although he didn’t capture the children’s faces, the laughter from the scene showed that the family was in a great mood.
It is noted that Wang and Mandy are expecting their first baby together, with Mandy having revealed that they have already chosen a name for their unborn child.
Mandy has also often shared details of her relationship with Barbie’s children in her livestreams, saying that both children are very obedient and always ask for her opinion and permission before going anywhere, prompting her to praise them for being “well-educated by their mother.”
Xiyue and Xilin have been living with Wang and Mandy in Shanghai since Barbie’s passing in February last year.
