Entering the Year of the Horse, Philip Ng revealed that his biggest goal is to maintain the momentum of last year and continue to make more good films.
In a recent interview, the actor, who experienced a new wave of popularity after starring in “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In” in 2024, said that he wants to make more good movies for the audience to enjoy and appreciate, be it through another production or his own.
“Actually, my partner and I have had a studio for a while now. In the early days, we mainly focused on conceiving stories and writing scripts, preparing documents to market to investors. Thank God, investors are very interested in our projects now, and we have several films in preparation. One of them is in post-production, and we can finally do what we both want to make. Although it’s a bit busy, it’s very exciting,” he said.
Philip also admitted that he was delighted to have been nominated at the Hong Kong Film Awards last year and to have made so many films, and he looks forward to his new work this year and will continue to work hard.
As for his Lunar New Year, the actor said that unlike last year, he didn’t have the chance to celebrate with his relatives in the United States.
“After Lunar New Year, I will start working again, and my family plans to visit me on set,” he added.
