Although she is now free from her management, Zhao Lusi recently admitted that she is not yet ready for a big show like a New Year concert or any events involving crowds.
The actress, who decided to go live on social media to chat with fans on New Year’s Eve recently, said that after suffering serious health issues between 2024 and 2025, she has become quite sensitive.
Admitting that she didn’t dare to accept any work that could affect her physical condition, Lusi added, “When I’m on stage, I can feel many eyes that don’t like me, and it’s hard to say ‘thank you’ to those eyes.”
“For me, it’s better to stay home and get through [the New Year celebration] in a stable way,” she added.
She also expressed hopes to gradually reduce her medication dosage in 2026 to improve her health.
However, Lusi also had good news when it comes to work, saying that she is currently reviewing several scripts and will begin filming as early as spring.
In addition to filming, she will also release several new songs and shoot music videos.
