Mayday’s Ashin recently announced that the conclusion of the F4 reunion concert is also the end of his performance with the three members, Jerry Yan, Vic Chou and Vanness Wu.
The singer, who has been performing all four shows with the members in Shanghai as part of the “”F☆ FOREVER City Of Stars Tour,” gave a small speech at the end of the final performance on 22 December.
“I know this is not the scene that everyone is most looking forward to, but this is the best scene I can present to you,” he said, revealing that he will return to Mayday after the show.
In his acceptance speech, he thanked Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu, and manager Angie Chai. He also mentioned Ken Zhu, who was uninvited to perform with the group, saying, “I also want to thank Ken, who is temporarily unable to make it.”
When asked why he participated in F3’s concert, Ashin said that he couldn’t bear to leave one corner of the four-sided stage empty.
“I couldn’t bear to let these three people bear all the pressure, and I couldn’t bear to let you, who have waited for twenty years, be disappointed. 2025 may not be the best year of your life, but it is the year they return to your life,” he said.
