Lollipop F’s Fabien Yang surprised many recently, when he announced that he and wife Li Yanyan have called it quits on their marriage.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the singer posted a photo of him and his non-showbiz ex-wife and revealed that the two have peacefully ended their marriage back in September.
“This was a decision we made together after many deep conversations, understanding, and reflection, with gratitude and with blessings,” he expressed.
Fabien stated that even though the nature of the relationship has changed, he and Yanyan will always love their children the same and will co-parent their kids together.
“This process has taught us to let go of attachment and to look at life in a softer way. Some stories do not need to be described as having “ended”. They have simply shifted into a more comfortable form,” he added.
Fabien also added that he will no longer respond to any questions about his family from now on.
Just like his divorce came as a surprise, Fabien’s marriage to Yanyan was also a surprise when he announced it in July 2020. The couple later revealed the next month that they were having a baby.
