Rumour has it that Chen Bo-lin and Chen Ting-hsuan have postponed their supposed plan to tie the knot at the end of the year amid the actor’s military evasion scandal.
As reported on Mingpao, Chen, who reportedly made plans for an overseas wedding at the end of the year, allegedly has been calling his family, friends, and relevant businesses to explain the situation.
However, it is currently unknown how long this postponement will last.
It was previously reported that Chen has popped the question to his long-time girlfriend after 13 years of relationship. However, the actor denied it when asked at an event a few days following the news, saying that he was unaware of the rumours.
Chen was arrested alongside five other celebrities back in October for allegedly evading military service. After being released on bail, he admitted to “making a ridiculous and opportunistic choice when he was young.”
The prosecution sought a sentence of 2 years and 8 months.
