Jackson Yee could be a legend in the making, or so Wong Jing thinks in a recent video on social media.
As reported on Sohu, the controversial Hong Kong filmmaker recently shared his two cents about the singer-actor, who recently became the youngest actor to win the Golden Rooster Best Actor award.
“He might be a more artistic version of Chow Yun-fat or Jiang Wen,” said Wong, who then praised the actor for having a gumption to pick challenging roles, from playing a teenager with cerebral palsy to a man with multiple personalities.
He stated that Jackson’s acting journey echoed Chow Yun Fat’s own early career path.
It is noted that in his latest film, “Resurrection,” Jackson takes on five different roles, being the protagonist in the five short chapters within the film.
